1. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN SHARE A STATION?

As many as 3 individuals can share a station but remember, if you are sharing a station you are also sharing one VR device, limiting your group from enjoying multiplayer experiences together.

2. IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO PLAY?

Virtual Reality is an immersive and stimulating experience and although age recommendations vary from one VR headset to another, we advise users should be at least 8 years of age. All of our guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult while any guest under the age of 18 must have an age of majority guardian who will need to sign a waiver on their behalf.

3. CAN MY FRIENDS AND I PLAY TOGETHER?

Absolutely! Although you will need to rent at least 2 stations to access multiplayer options, with each station rental comes another opportunity for you and your friends to enjoy the magic of virtual reality together.

4. How much does it cost?

Our station rates begin at only $29 an hour and include an introduction to VR by our friendly staff. Please refer to our online booking tool for available times and prices.

5. Can I book online?

Not only can you book online we recommend it! You will save time at check-in, be guaranteed no wait times and a dedicated VR station will be waiting for you when you arrive!

6. How many games do you have?

From first person shooters to more relaxing puzzle and strategy games, we have VR experiences for all tastes. Whether it’s playing table tennis and soccer, visiting Mars or exploring a museum, all of our 31 titles are available in your a session so you can feel free to jump in and out of experiences as you please.

7. Where can I park?

Metered street parking is available along College street and Spadina ave.

8. Can I use my own Game Account?

VRPlayin offers content that has been licensed from the game developers themselves and as a result, we sadly cannot allow you to access your private account in our facility due to commercial use licensing restrictions.

9. Can I wear my glasses?

Yes, you can! Our HTC vive VR headsets fit comfortably over most eyeglasses and can be adjusted to offer a better fit.

10. How big is the space?

With 18 stations and a complimentary driving simulator, we can offer private and semi-private groups for up to 80 people. Inquire about our Play Packages to find out how you can take advantage of our unique space for your special event!

11. Will I get motion sickness?

Not likely! We have outfitted all 18 of our stations with the HTC Vive, which is considered to be the best available VR hardware on the market. Due to the responsiveness of its motion tracking, the Vive eliminates any delays between what you are doing and what you are seeing, which often is the main cause of motion sickness in virtual reality. Of course each person may react differently to VR, so if you are someone who is easily affected by motion sickness, please let our Customer Experience Representatives know and we will recommend you an experience that is less likely to cause any problems. Your experience and satisfaction are of utmost important to us.

12. Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes. We offer a variety of choices, when it comes to VR gift certificates. Speak or email one of our Customer Experience Representatives we will be happy to provide an option that is right for you!
